The Healthy Social Behaviors (HSB) Initiative supports early childhood educators in promoting positive social-emotional development and addressing challenging behaviors in early learning environments.

Through coaching, consultation, training, and technical assistance, the initiative helps educators build supportive classroom environments and strengthen social-emotional practices for young children. The project is grounded in Pyramid Model practices and supports licensed child care programs serving children birth through five.

The Healthy Social Behaviors Initiative is coordinated through a statewide network led by Child Care Resources Inc. (CCRI) in partnership with regional agencies across North Carolina.
AACF continues to support early childhood educators in Northeastern North Carolina by connecting providers with statewide early childhood initiatives and local early childhood resources.
